Ministrica nagradila najbolje u prošloj školskoj godini.
Ministarstvo znanosti i obrazovanja nagradilo je na Dan učitelja najbolje odgojno – obrazovne djelatnike i djelatnice. To je učinjeno po prvi puta. Na svečanosti u Nacionalnoj i sveučilišnoj knjižnici u Zagrebu nagrade najboljima, za školsku godinu 2018 – 2019, dodijelila je ministrica znanosti i obrazovanja Blaženka Divjak. Dodjeljeno je 510 nagrada.
Nagrađeni su izabrani na temelju niza kriterija poput rada na unaprjeđenju škole i obrazovnog sustava, mentorstva učenicima i učenicama na domaćim i međunarodnim natjecanjima, razvoja inovativnih metoda poučavanja, vođenja i sudjelovanja u predavanjima, radionicama i edukacijama, vođenja i mentoriranja online edukacija, objavljivanja stručnih članaka i udžbenika i tako dalje. 510 najboljih učitelja u Hrvatskoj, nagrađeno je s 10.000 kuna bruto.
Među najboljim nastavnicima 18 ih je i s područja naše Županije a petero ih je iz Ogulina. To su Anita Belančić iz OŠ Ivane Brlić Mažuranić Ogulin, te Branko Rumenović, Dragan Sabljak, Marijana Smolčec i Jasminka Turina-Luketić iz Gimnazije i strukovne škole Bernardina Frankopana Ogulin.
Agencija za odgoj i obrazovanje objavila je i imena nastavnika, odgojitelja, učitelja i stručnih suradnika, koji su promovirani u zvanje mentora i savjetnika. Među njima je i Dinka Mališ iz Prve OŠ Ogulin. Iz iste škole, zvanje učitelja mentora, promoviran je Marijan Tonković.
